How to work around the fact taht Facebook remembers initial YouTube thumb image

When a YouTube video owner posts a video to Facebook, sometimes he or she wants a different thumb image than the one Facebook used in the initial posting. Since Facebook Remembers the initial image in memory for at least several days, what one can do to work around this issue?

In the past, services like Tinyurl or Bitly helped to avoid such problem. Not anymore as far as we know.

However, there is a workaround for this problem and it is very simple. The trick is to just use an https:// prefix instead of http:// prefix when pasting/posting the YouTube video.
